ACADEMIC CONSULTANT

Job Summary

Offer academic consulting services for Ontario high school students, focusing on their success in school, extracurricular involvement, and ultimately their university application process. You will be in an advisory position, assessing each client based on their needs and determining how Uforse can best contribute to their success.

There will be an initial probation period with potential full-time opportunities based on your performance.

No deadline – all applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis! We could require two contacts for references as part of confirmatory background checks.

Application Process

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver Uforse Education Group Inc. course curriculum in a classroom and / or online setting

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services

  • Generate revenue for the company by sourcing potential clients, contacting and developing a relationship with potential clients, closing transactions, and maintaining relationships with clients for potential cross-selling opportunities

  • Earn clients' trust and secure the role of their education advisor

  • Represent the company in a positive light to further build the company’s reputation and market brand

  • Evaluate client progress and critically assess how a client can improve upon their progress, both in and outside of school

  • Potentially supervise a physical office location as an operations base

  • Attend periodic faculty meetings

  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to your designated department head

Qualifications and Skills

  • Have strong command of the Ontario high school and post-secondary education systems

  • Past sales experience is an asset, but not mandatory

  • Passionate about relationship-building and exhibits an ability to personally connect with clients, who will be a mix of international high school students and their parents

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a dedication to the progress and improvement of clients

  • Proficiency in either English and Chinese Mandarin (emphasis on Chinese Mandarin)
